Water Tap & Fittings

METHOD water fittings are designed and developed to meet the requirements of modern laboratories and are specifically for use with potable water supply.

When installing Method fittings, local water bylaws must be adhered to. Method laboratory fittings are tested to BS EN 5412 : 1996  which includes Water Tightness & Pressure Resistance.

• Salt Spray Test (BS EN 248 : 2002) | WELS Toxicity Test (SS 375 : 2001) | Metal Extraction (AS/NZS 4020 : 2005)

Gas Taps & Fittings

METHOD gas fittings are designed for use with special gases and burning gases Material. All Method gas fittings are made of solid brass pressings  alongside high quality brass tubes, both closely monitored by the Quality Control department to ensure problem free machining.

Supply should always be through a suitable regulator to ensure desired pressure is maintained.

• BS3202:1959 “Recommendations on laboratory furniture and fittings” recommends supply pressure is reduced to 1.4 bar for safety reasons.
  Dry service supply should be free from particles and contamination.
